The Passion

This is Freshpreneur’s first article.  This is my first article.  I am not a veteran entrepreneur, rather a rookie.  I have yet to start up my own company, but that will change soon.  I’m a Freshpreneur.  As I learn from experienced, successful, and even failing entrepreneurs, I plan on sharing their advice and knowledge with others who are about to take the first steps of doing it on their own. I will be posting articles and information that I find helpful, hoping that it will maybe assist others as well.

The passion of helping others is the reason I decided to start this blog. As the first article, I see it fit to talk about the drive and the necessary foundation needed to starting a business. One common factor that I hear from entrepreneurs about starring a business is to make sure that you are %100 passionate about what you want to do.  A start-up business presents a very difficult road and unless you have been there, you really can’t understand it.  The key to moving forward through the hardship and the struggles is digging deep to find the passion that thrives in your veins.

When you let your passion drive you, it leads you to greater lengths.  Doing it for just the money could be a hit or miss, specially during the downturns of the economy. So if you are on the verge of going on your own path and creating a start-up, look in the mirror and if you don’t see the fire flaring in your eyes, then you may want to reevaluate your options.  Find the passion and build upon it.

Here are two articles by Tara Jacobsen and Deniela Cavalletti that can give you a little more info on finding the passion
